Down Bros Medical Cabinet

A vintage industrial medical trolley by Down Bros.
A superb & exeptionally rare example, the tubular frame is raised on large cast iron castors & topped with brass finials supporting a six drawer pine cabinet all in the original painted finish. The drawers are finished with numbered Ivorine plaques & flush brass handles with a superb depth of colour. 
Originally used in an autopsy room in North Norfolk.
Early 20th Century
Wear commensurate with age, good overall yet totally untouched. Rear rubber to the wheels is flattened at the bottom & rear castors do not roll and the caninet was likely topped with a loose piece of glass to the top originally though I far prefer it without.
