A wonderful pair of reclaimed antique glazed earthenware corbels.
A beautiful pair of 19th century architectural corbels, likely from either side of the entranceway to a shop. The twin headed lions with decidedly rodent-like facial features each grasping a shield & finished with a pale green craquelure glaze. Striking things, highl;y likely a complete one off!
Late 19th century.
