A beautiful antique floor standing hat stand.
A wonderful & unusual piece of good scale and form, the turned base supporting a bobbin turned upright with it's original top, all in a cracking coat of original layered paint. A pretty rare thing in this size!
French, 19th Century
Wear commensurate with age, good overall having had historic woodworm to the base, treated as a precaution & solid, upright with a slight bend which only serves to add to the character.
