A wonderful carved Anglo Indian end table.
A good example of traditional Indian craftsmanship, profusely caved with some beautiful detail, the hinged octagonal base with fretwork side panels depicting scrolling vines & berries. The removable top features a traditional floral pattern to the outer carving & the centre is finished with a decorative bone inlay.
A nice example in a good size with great colour.
Mid 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, extremely good condition overall having been with the same owner since new, very minor loss to the bone inlay.
