A beautiful bank of 19th century pigment drawers.
A fantastic bank of twenty pine pigment drawers in the original painted finish & with the most wonderful age related patina. Battered, bruised & absolutely gorgeous, a real interior decorators piece, you don't come across many like this!
France, mid to late 19th century
Wear commensurate with age, solid yet showing numerous signs of old damage, repairs & wear & tear, old woodworm treated as a precaution & a repair to the rear of the base. As with most early banks of drawers, these were likely used in an industrial setting at some point & the inner drawers may need cleaning depending on intended use.
