An antique floor / standard lamp by Richard Evered & Sons.
An unusual & very original example of the highest quality, the cast base with some wonderful detail supporting a teleccopic upright & locking collar surrounded by three slender columns. Beautifully cast in sliver-plated brass with a good untouched patina, a beautiful, timeless & scarce piece of lighting. Makers mark to the underside of the upper collar for Everard & Sons.
Rewired in twisted black flex.
Late 19th / early 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, good overall, silver-plate unpolished with natural wear, minor loss & discolouration, displays well.
Extends from 115cm to 180cm.
