A large opaline glass plafonnier.
A beautifully simple yet elegant example the hand blown opaline glass shade supported by its original brass gallery with cast hanging hooks.
Early 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, one or two very minor chips around the top rim, all of which are hidden from view by the gallery. Three contemporary 50cm chains (pictured) are included though a ceiling rose & wiring are not.
Measurements above include the gallery but not the chains (glass alone 30.5cm across).
