A fantastic early tailors / outfitters mirror of monumental proportions.
A wonderful shop mirror in an extremely rare size, almost ten feet in height / length & in it's original ebonised wooden frame. Formerly of a tailors shop near Windsor, the original thick glass mirror plate is both sublime quality & in extremely good condition with the mirror lending itself well to both portrait or lanscape use.
A phenomenal thing & an extremely rare survivor.
Early 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, plate comparatively excellent, frame has one chip to one of the shorter sides which is limited to the rear part of the frame doesn't detract. Quite possibly the most awkward thing I've ever photographed, the images do the scale & quality no justice!
