A beautiful 19th century pine trunk.
A particularly good Victorian pine chest in the original finish with unusual decorative cast iron banding, internal candle box & iron carry handles either end. The corners of the lid are capped in brass, the front panel is finished with an engraved brass plaque for 'W P Hunt' & the patina is excellent throughout. A superb piece which would make a fantastic coffee table.
Mid to late 19th century.
Wear commensurate with age, great untouched original condition.
