A beautiful colonial pocket watch display dome.
A wonderful & very rare Anglo Indian watch dome, the a turned ebony base with bone & brass detailing supporting a hinged, hand blown glass dome and the interior lined in blue velvet. A beautifully crafted & very unusual item!
Indian, mid to late 19th century.
Wear commensurate with age, glass in good condition with no damage, the inner 'stand' part appears to have had more to it at some point as detailed in the last image.
The above dimensions refer to overall exterior measurement of the dome on its base.
