A wonderful vintage illuminated Chemist trade sign.
A fantastic & exceptionally rare surviving trade sign for The United ChemistAssociation Ltd in a very unusual design. Double sided light with four hand painted milk glass panels, housed a wood & tin case with twin hanging hooks & a small access door to the base. A superb piece of early advertising & a great decorative item!
Early 20th Century
Wear commensurate with age, very good overall & full working order having had a recent rewire. The case has had a little work over the years, the hanging hooks are later & some of the paintwork has been historically overpainted.
All electrical items should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use.
