A beautifully modelled plaster advertising bust which would have been displayed in a tailors or outfitters window & used to display hats & ties. With real character & the perfect amount of wear, the head comes in two parts, the original paint & is finished with the most realistic glass eyes.
An excellent example of a rarely found piece.
European, likely Austrian, early 20th century.
Wear commensurate with age, good condition with wear & tear as highlighted & a couple of larger chips to the base, all part of it's past & nothing which detracts.
