An exceptional pair of numbered antique leather fire buckets.
In thick hide with a wonderful rich colour and sheen to the conker brown hide, large hand painted numbers embellishing the fronts & copper rivets running down both sides & around the base. Two large cast iron rings support the original leather handles which are again studded with copper rivets. A superb pair.
Mid 19th century.
Wear commensurate with age, amazing condition overall. Measurements do not include the handle.
