A beautiful early draughtsman's chair in solid oak by Glenister of High Wycombe.
A remarkable piece of early industrial design with an adjustable back-rest, single plank seat & height adjustable swivel mechanism. With original oil cloth upholstery to the back rest, cast iron fittings & a large circular footrest. Stamped with the Glenister maker's mark on the lower part of the back. A wonderful example.
Late 19th / early 20th century.
Wear commensurate with age, clean & ready to use, beautifully worn & unrestored.
