A large Victorian country house tallboy.
A super piece of country house furniture with four generous drawers below a large cupboard, retaining all its original brass handles. In solid pine in the original finish & made in two parts, the dovetailed drawers have a wonderful depth offering hoards of storage space while taking up a minimal amount of floor space. This piece came direct from a large Norfolk country house & if you have the height for it, could be used in any room in the house. A superb & very original piece of country house furniture.
Late 19th Century.
Wear commensurate with age, good solid condition, unrestored with minor areas of historic woodworm treated as a precaution. One handle with a irrelevant historic repair, no lock present to cupboard, one inner drawer has had a naive repair to one corner & there is some minor damage here & there to the inside, all faults shown in the last image & none detract.
