A very unusual antique glass chemist's advertising carboy.
A curious carboy which would have been filled with colourful liquid & graced a chemist window as part of an eye catching advertising display.
Hand blown & of unusual form, retaining its original glass stopper.
Early 20th Century
Wear commensurate with age, unrestored. The lower part of the stopper & a couple of areas around the base have some cracking (the base is more just a couple of light bruises), there is no resulting loss to the glass & this does not affect it for display.
Height measurement includes stopper.
