A bank of antique elm blacksmith's drawers.
A beautiful & very early piece which came directly from an old blacksmith's workshop, unusually made entirely from solid elm & hand forged nails. Showing its age beautifully with wonderful naively carved numbers to the drawer fronts and a fantastic depth of colour & patina.
Likely late 18th Century
Wear commensurate with age, displays beautifully. With damaged & replacement handles, all over historic woodworm heavily treated as a precaution, subsequent damage to rear corner of back panel.
