An unusual 'Hot Saveloys' tole street-vendors tin.
A wonderful & very decorative piece of toleware in its original painted finish with hand finished gilt lettering & detailing & punchy red paintwork. This would have sat atop a street vendors cart with hot water in the base keeping the saveloys warm.
A great unusual decorative piece for the kitchen & not something which shows up very often!

Wear commensurate with age as pictured, good overall, unrestored & displays well retaining its original insert inside, fading & to the lid. Sold for display purposes only.
