An original antique gilt brass automotive inspection lamp.
A beautifully simple & early example with a hand blown glass lens protected by a brass cage and wire hanging hook, all in the original gilt finish with a good age related patina.

Wear commensurate with age, very good overall, wired in twisted flex.
The lamp accepts regular bayonet cap 'pygmy' bulbs & we would recommend a lower watt bulb to minimise heat.
All electrical items should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use.
