A wonderful vintage shop display cabinet for Carson's Chocolate.
A beautiful & very unusual tole or tin advertising cabinet with three glazed sides, two shelves and finished with the Carson's Chocolate branding along the upper edge. The front of the cabinet would have faced the customer with the shopkeeper using the hinged rear door to access the chocolate. A wonderful surviving piece of advertising which makes a fantastic display cabinet.
1920's
Wear commensurate with age, showing numerous pleasing signs of age, the bottom left corner has a tiny crack to the glass which doesn't detract & only really visible on close inspection. Both shelves are removable & both have chips & nibbles to the corners & edges.
