A wonderful antique pitch pine haberdashery counter.
A beautiful Victorian shop counter, four huge drawers with their original cast iron cup handles housed in a panelled pine carcass, all with a great age related patina. A handsome piece of industrial furniture & a handy bit of storage for home or retail.
Late 19th century.
Wear commensurate with age, solid, displays well but has had some work before coming to us. The lower skirt around the back & sides has been added later to compensate for damage to the bottom of the cabinet & the top is also later but not recent & the carcass & drawers have numerous losses, chips & light damage.
