A fantastic & very rare antique watchmakers trade sign.
A wonderful piece of folk art which would have hung from a bracket outside a jewellers or watchmakers. In all original paint with a stunning age related patina & areas of faded gilding, the name O C Ford, that of the watchmaker, can be made out across the upper face. The top is finished with a thick iron ring with an area of wear to the top from where it once hung. A beautiful & exceptionnaly original survior.

Wear commensurate with age, untouched original condition, very good overall with one side very worn.
