A beautiful large antique bowl shaped coral specimen.
A fantastic & very unusual coral specimen with a wonderful texture & colour. The piece can be displayed either way up, makes a fantastic table centre piece & would look amazing with a small light source added underneath to produce a soft glow. A truly beautiful example.
Likely early to mid 20th century.
Wear commensurate with age, very good overall & both display beautifully. The piece does just about free stand upside down (as a bowl) & would be fine if displayed in an area where it is to be undisturbed however would benefit from some support underneath if its likely to be knocked.
The specimens measure around 17cm x 16cm x 13cm & 11cm x 10cm x 9cm respectively (including the bases).
