Emerald Green Apothecary Poison Bottles

A beautiful run of nineteen antique emerald glass apothecary poison bottles.
A fabulous run of chemist bottles comprising of five larger & fourteen smaller bottles, all with deeply etched labelling ground glass stoppers. The jars once contained the poisons Arsenic, Strychnine & Belladonna (Deadly Nightshade) amongst other things & each bottle has one ribbed side to prevent them sticking when stored together. Very unusual to get a collection this large which has remained together!

The larger bottles measure 23.5cm in height & the smaller 18.5cm(including stoppers).
Wear commensurate with age, excellent overall with no damage, just a little loss to the inlaid enamel lettering on some of the bottles & two have clear glass, rather than green stoppers.
