A wonderful large bank of twenty Victorian apothecary drawers.
A fantastic bank of drawers in solid pine throughout with all twenty dovetailed drawers retaining their original turned hardwood handles & a run of open pigeon holes at the base. This striking piece of furniture would once have formed part of a fitted chemist interior & has evolved beautifully over the years. The wear to the timbers points to a well used past, the slightly uneven nature of the drawers gives it a wonderful rustic feel & the non original timbers here & there fit in seamlessly with its time-worn appearance.

Wear commensurate with age, good original condition showing numerous favorable signs of age, the rear, parts of the sides & base are later additions & beautifully naive & one of the lower row of drawers is a well matched replacement. The inside of the drawers could be cleaned further depending on what they are to be used for as they have only had a light brush & the exterior of the cabinet is clean & ready to use.
