A wonderful large articulated jewellers magnifying glass.
An unusual example, beautifully engineered throughout, featuring an adjustable arm supporting an extremely thick, powerful magnifying lens. The spherical cast iron base is stabalised by the two elongated supports & can be opened underneath to adjust the tension of the lower pivot. A superb decorative piece of exceptional form.

Wear commensurate with age, very good overall, displays beautifully. The glass lens is clear & functional one minor surface scratch which does not detract (around an inch long, see second from last image).
