A wonderful large articulated jewellers magnifying glass.
An unusual example, beautifully engineered throughout, featuring an adjustable arm supporting an extremely thick, powerful magnifying lens. The spherical cast iron base is stabalised by the two elongated supports & can be opened underneath to adjust the tension of the lower pivot. A superb decorative piece of exceptional form.

Wear commensurate with age, displays beautifully with the patina to the chrome areas part of its past & serving only to add to its industrial appeal. The glass lens is clear & functional some very minor scratching & minute nibbles to one corner which does not detract.
