A beautiful antique milk glass opticians sigt test.
A wonderful, early piece of ophthalmic history, unusually in milk glass with etched lettering in a contrasting black finish which is complemented by its original ebonized hardwood frame. We think this was probably used in conjunction with a mirror given the orientation of the lettering.
A wonderful, interesting & striking piece.

Wear commensurate with age, very good overall with some minor loss to the black finish within the etched lettering. The frame will need a wire or hook to wall hang.
