A stunning large antique Holophane 'Stiletto' Bowl light. A magnificent, two-part prismatic glass pendant light with its original bronze gallery & hanging chains, rarely found in this larger size.
This particular model of Holophane has a real presence once hung & lit and diffuses the light beautifully.
Early 20th century
The light is in excellent condition. The circular main gallery & hanging chains are original, the upper gallery & ceiling rose are fitting contemporary replacements. Supplied with 1.5m of twisted flex & a brass bulb holder.
The measurements above refer to the overall dimensions of the light once hung & include the gallery, the height measurement is taken from the ceiling rose to the base of the bowl. The light alone (glass only, without the gallery) measures around 31cm across & the chains could be shortened according to requirements.
