A beautiful & early antique glass chemists advertising jar for Tasmanian & Eucalyptus Menthol Pastilles. A beautiful & very unusual piece with a fantastic overlayed etched milk-glass label & a faded gilt surround. The jar is hand blown with a ground pontil mark to the bases & retains its original large cut glass stopper. Super quality & a wonderful display piece.
1890 / 1900
Wear commensurate with age, excellent overall with no damage. The jars lid is currently stuck in place, I have not tried to remove it as it does not effect it for display.
