A wonderful example of an antique dome top military trunk. A stunning example in the most amazing original paint, stencilled with the original shipping details for a Captain Chamberlain of Great Yeldham, Essex. Its single surviving L.M.S paper shiping label to the end panel offer a hint of its well travelled path & the whole trunk has a beautiful, even age related patina. Exceptionally original & so decorative, you don't find them like this very often!
Early 20th century.
Wear commensurate with age, very good solid condition. Unrestored.
