Victorian Gilt Glass Cobblers Sign

A beautiful & scarce surviving example of a early antique glass cobblers advertising sign. A superb Victorian gilt glass advertising sign, reverse painted in the traditional manner & set in its original wooden frame. On unusually thick glass & boasting some fantastic colours within the lettering & a wonderful texture to the gilt detailing, the sign has a great bygone feel & fantastic overall look about it. Very likely a one-off.
Late 19th century.
Wear commensurate with age, unrestored, great condition overall with no cracks or damage.
