Dugdills 'Cog' Lamp

A beautiful large & seldom seen early vintage Dugdills industrial 'Cog' lamp. With its original white enamel shade, large cast alloy 'cog' tension wheels at the joints & in its original factory finish. This beautifully over-engineered lamp was the flagship of the Dugdills range during the 1920's & this particular lamp was their largest offering. Good examples of this lamp are becoming incresingly hard to come by, particularly in this original condition. Rewired in twisted black flex via the original bulb holder with 'matchstick' switch & an inline on/off switch.

Wear commensurate with age showing the usual signs of age as pictured. The lamp will require mounting to gain full use of its positions & can be used as pictured or as a wall light. The height measurement above refers to the lamps height as per the main image & is not a 'flat out' measurement.
