A small Victorian glass specimen display dome. A fantastic example, the glass dome on an unusual raised ebonized wooden base. Perfect for displaying taxidermy specimens & other curios. 
Late 19th century.
In excellent order with no damage, the base showing one or two very minor signs of age. The overall height of the piece is 22.5cm, the glass dome alone is 15cm in height & & 10cm wide.
