A truly stunning example of an early vintage enamel advertising sign for Liptons Tea by Wood & Penfold of London. A wonderful version of the iconic Liptons Tea sign, double sided, small by comparison & featuring some wonderful colours and a fantastic 'By Appointment' crest. Signs in this sort of condition are becoming increasingly hard to come by & we were extremely pleased to pick this one up! A rare survivor, perfect for the home, cafe or restaurant!
Early 20th century.
Wear commensurate with age, exceptional condition overall, one of the best examples of this sign I've ever seen with an excellent gloss & depth of colour. Unrestored with minor rusting to the outer edges.
