A stunning chest of  19th century graduated pine entomology drawers. A beautiful Victorian specimen chest in solid pine throughout, with ten drawers all with their original contrasting turned hardwood handles. The chest retains its paper label for 'Watkins & Doncaster,  Naturalists & Manufacturers Of  Entomology Apapartus, 36 Strand London' & its delicate dovetailed joints & attention to detail are typical of  the period. A particularly good looking & comparitively large, usable example.

Wear commensurate with age, very good overall with a cople of non original drawer runners inside. Historically stripped & waxed to a beautiful soft sheen.
