A fantastic early vintage enamel advertising sign for Coopers Sheep Dip. A wonderful, extremely rare sign in some beautiful vivid colours & featuring some lovely typography typical of the era. Coopers Dip was based on an arsenic powder & developed in 1852 by vetrinarian & industrialist, William Cooper of Berkhamsted. It became a household name amongst sheep farmers & protected their flock from external parasites.
Early 20th Century, likely pre 1920.
Wear commensurate with age, minor staining & denting to top right edge, otherwise very good for a sign of this age. Unusually thick enamel & very rigid!
UK courier service available at £13 tracked & signed for 24 hour delivery.
