An original Hadrill Horstmann counterbalance desk lamp.
An exceptionally original example of this industrial design classic with the iconic cast iron counterbalance, all original paintwork and tulip shade. The lamp is a very early production with the 'crinkle' paint finish to the base, counterweight & shade & 'Pats Pending' stamp to the lower arm setting it apart from the more common later models.
One of the best & most original examples of this lamp I've had the privilege to own.

Wear commensurate with age, cosmetically unrestored with the rewire the only later addition. Excellent overall with the usual expected minor marking & wear to the paintwork & discolouration to the inner shade.
Measurement is taken in the 'classic' position witgh the arms at a right angle.
