A fantastic example of a vintage Anglepoise 1209 lamp by Herbert Terry & Sons.
An iconic design classic featuring a heavy cast iron base, original paintwork & springs and 'tulip' shade. This 'heavy duty' or 'industrial' version of the 1209, characterised by its heavier base and shorter arms & lower springs was generally more robust than the version created for domestic use & was popular in schools & laboratories during the mid 20th century.
Rewired in twisted black flex.
