X Large 19th Century Tailors Mirror

An extra large, early tailors / outfitters mirror.
A wonderful antique shop mirror of excellent scale, the thick, original foxed glass mirror plate in its original ebonized bull nose frame with the perfect amount of wear. I've been buying these for a long time & this is probably the nicest & most original I've come across & is in such an unusual size, would work equally well freestanding or wall mounted portrait or landscape.
The mirror was purchased direct from what was the oldest haberdashery store in Nottinghhamshire, Rowells of Long Eaton. It is presumed to have been there since new & we acquired it recently from the buildings new owners who have since converted the premisis into a bar.

Wear commensurate with age, totally untouched & good overall with the usual 'ex-retail' scars & wear, plate very good. Will require new brackets to hang.
