An elegant & high quality example of good form, in turned & carved walnut of excellent colour & retaining it's original faded & worn velvet covering to the top.
French, late 19th Century
Wear commensurate with age, good overall, the extremities of the base have some historic repairs & the velvet to the top is worn through in places, these blend well & are nort relevant once in use (see last image).
