A wonderful painted timber trade sign for, 'C W Forrester, Nurseryman & Seedsman', delightfully original & totally untouched with the perfect patina. The bold gilt lettering with a red shadow on a faded black ground, surrounded by a deep frame.
A truly exceptional example & a beautiful thing, the likes of which are now showing up less & less.

Wear commensurate with age, nevber touched & good condition overall, displays beautifully. The sign remains solid & has a length of chain to the rear to hang, old woodworm holes dead & trteated as a precaution
