An oversized 19th century glass chemist's carboy.
A superb example of great scale & form which would have been filled with colourful liquid & graced a chemist window as part of an eye catching advertising display. Hand blown & far larger than usual & in a particularly attractive shape, retaining its original stopper with cork to the base which when in use, allowed the stopper itself to be filled with liquid.
A wonderful example which would look amazing filled once again.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, one chip to the undersise of the stopper which is not visible once in place. Never cleaned inside & has a little residue from the original green liquid it once contained.
Height measurement includes stopper.
