A wonderful pair of reclaimed antique beach groynes.
A beautiful pair of groynes of exceptional form, wonderfully sculptural, the naturally weathered greenheart posts are surrounded with riveted iron strapwork & topped with spiked finials. The naturally weathered & eroded surfaces boast some stunning textures & colours and make these beautiful & unique decorative pieces.
Groynes run perpendicular to the shore along a beach & have been used to protect our beaches from being 'washed away' by reducing the movement of sediment for over a century.

Around 49cm & 44cm high respectively
Wear commensurate with age, good solid, untouched condition with their numerous signs of age contributing to what they are today. Unrestored.
