A rise & fall wall light in the manner of Gino Sarfatti.
A super stylish piece of Italian lighting, the simple wall bracket supporting a telescopic arm & large linen shade, retaining its original in-line counterweight with integrated push switch. The large lampshade, handmade in Florence, rises & falls when the counterweigh is dropped or raised and the gilt brass has taken on the perfect age related patina.
A smart, sophisticated & elegant lamp that would blend in anywhere, fresh in straight from Italy and not a model which turns up very often!
Wired in twisted black flex.
1950's / 60's
Wear commensurate with age, very good overall, shade contemporary, made in small numbers in Italy.
Overall reach of the lamp alone (without shade) ranges from 66cm to 102cm & the shade itself is approximately 55cm x 25cm.
All electrical items should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use (rewire on this particular light was in place when purchased but is recent & professional and the lamp and switch are in full working order).
Courier service available, please enquire for details.
