Modernist Copper Desk Lamp

A Modernist copper desk lamp.
A highly unusual & very likely unique light, the base with a thick textured copper surface, the upright banded in turned copper & bakelite supporting a heavy cylindrical copper shade.
Possibly a prototype, possibly just scratch built by somebody on drugs, a glorious combination of raw materials either way which contribute toward a beautiful piece of lighting.
1920's / 30's
Wired in twisted flex
Wear commensurate with age, good overall, delightfully naive in its construction though solid & displays beautifully.
UK courier service available at £15 tracked & signed for 24 hour delivery.
All electrical items should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use.
This lamp came in with the current wiring in place, it is in working order though the switch on the base has been bypassed (now defunct) in favour of an inline switch.
