A large gilt brass sputnik chandelier.
A wonderful & highly unusual piece of lighting of the highest quality, the arms radiating from the centre section on star shaped mounts from the unusual cast brass Armillery Sphere style centre.
Beautifully cast & gilded with sixteen lamp holders including one within the centre section, this will look sensational once illuminated. A real staement piece of which I've never come across the like.
Italian, 1950's
Wear commensurate with age, very good original condition showing a few minor signs of age. The chandelier has not been rewired & as with all electrical items, it should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use (it does retain it's original flex which may well need to be updated, it has not been tested for electrical safety).
Measurements above include the rod which could be shortened according to ceiling height (height of chandelier without the rod is 61cm).
Courier service available, please enquire for details.
