A mid century table lamp by Jean Claude Mahey for Maison Romeo of Paris.
A beautiful & clean piece of mid century Parisian design with simple, elegant lines that work well with the lacqured black finish & gilt brass base & detailing.
A stylish piece of lighting that would look amazing in the right setting & wiould pair well with a variety of contemporary shades.
Wired in twisted black flex.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, displays well & in full working order. The brass base drops an inch or so when the lamp is lifted by the heavy cast top section but sits fine once in situ (I've had tweo of lamps by this manufacturer in the past, both exactly the same & no idea why but not a real issue at all as it doesn't effect it in any way).
