An early Dugdills desk lamp.
A wonderful & pretty hard-to-find model with a heavy cast iron base, articulated arm & nickel plated brass shell shade. The subtle differences to later models set this lamp apart from the rest, the embellishment to the upright, smaller base & the original shell shade really do make for a cracking piece of lighting.
Timeless Great British industrial design at its very best.
Rewired in twisted flex.
1920's
Wear commensurate with age, very good overall.
