Dugdills Machinist Lamp

A Dugdills machinist lamp.
A super example & a less common variant on a chunky cast iron base, in its factory grey finish with a great patina, retaining its original green & white enamel shade.
Rewired in twisted black flex.
1940's
Wear commensurate with age, good original condition, cosmetically unrestored showing numerous pleasing signs of its industrial past, one knock to the shade which doesn't detract. The cast iron base can be removed & spun to allow for a wall or flat mount. Original brass switch to the base present but bypassed & the lamp now switched on & off using the switched lamp holder.
Measurement given is a flat out measurement.
